Status of the D (1285) meson

Several groups have confirmed the existence of the D meson. Its mass and width are estimated to be (1282.4 ± 1.6) MeV and (24.9 ± 4.9) MeV respectively. Its ππη and K[math]π decay modes have also been studied. Its quantum numbers are expected to be IGJP = 0+ 1+ . The available information on the production and decay of the D meson has been analysed in this report and properties of the D meson have been established.
Résumé
Plusieurs groupes ont confirmé l’existence du méson D. Sa masse et la largeur de la résonance associée sont respectivement estimées à (1282,4 ± 1,6) MeV et (24,9 ± 4,9) MeV. Ses modes de décroissance ππη et K[math]π ont été étudiés. Ses nombres quantiques présumés sont IGJP = 0+1+. Les données actuelles relatives à la production, à la décroissance, et aux différentes propriétés du méson D sont analysées dans ce rapport.
